EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction).

Under the EPC model, Ecogen assumes responsibility for the complete delivery of the project, from engineering through construction and commissioning, within a turnkey approach. Clients benefit from a single point of accountability, greater predictability in schedule, cost and performance, and reduced complexity in coordinating multiple suppliers.

EPCM (Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management).

Under the EPCM model, Ecogen provides integrated project management, coordinating engineering, procurement and execution with a focus on cost, schedule and quality control. Suppliers are contracted directly by the client, with technical and strategic support from Ecogen, ensuring greater flexibility, transparency and efficiency throughout project delivery.

How we structure energy and utilities projects under the EPC and EPCM models

Integrated methodology, from initial study to operation

1

Step 01
TECHNICAL AND ECONOMIC FEASIBILITY STUDY
Initial project assessment, including energy demand analysis, technology alternatives and CAPEX estimates. This stage defines the key technical and financial drivers that support decision-making.

2

Step 02
ENGINEERING AND SCOPE DEFINITION
Development of conceptual and basic engineering, including technical solution detailing, scope definition, equipment specifications and operating assumptions.

3

Step 03
PLANNING AND CONTRACTING
Development of the project schedule and supplier contracting strategy, with a focus on cost, timeline and quality.

4

Step 04
PROCUREMENT AND CONTRACTING
Supplier and service provider selection and contracting process, including technical assessment, commercial negotiation and contract management.

5

Step 05
CONSTRUCTION EXECUTION AND SITE MANAGEMENT
Project implementation with continuous monitoring of schedule, costs and quality, as well as coordination of interfaces between disciplines and suppliers.

6

Step 06
COMMISSIONING AND OPERATIONAL HANDOVER
Testing, validation and system start-up to ensure the plant operates according to project requirements, with safety, efficiency and reliability.
